Seven Bridges is considered a desirable location for many reasons – gourmet restaurants, world-class shopping, and gorgeous beaches are all nearby. But perhaps one of the most important factors that make Palm Beach County such a great place to live is its close proximity to quality colleges and universities. Serving more than 50,000 students daily, there is no shortage of opportunity in Boca Raton/Delray Beach.
The largest university in Boca Raton is Florida Atlantic University, just 10 miles from Seven Bridges. With more than 170 programs offered, FAU has a degree for any professional interest. FAU is quickly earning a reputation as a top research institution in areas ranging from biomedicine and biotechnology to ocean engineering and coastline security.
The University also boasts a booming athletic program and has secured 21 conference championships. Campus highlights include on-campus football and basketball venues, a medical school, a large recreation center, an art house/movie theater and two art galleries.
Also nearby is Lynn University, a private, non-profit college serving 3,000 students. LU focuses on individualized attention in the classroom and is known for its diverse population, aeronautics program, music conservatory and exceptional Division II athletes. The campus consists of 123 lushly landscaped acres with six freshwater lakes.
To the north is Palm Beach State College. More than 15,000 students attend the Boca Raton campus, and the College prides itself on a teacher-to-student ratio of 1:23. Degree program highlights include Information Management, Nursing, Health Information Technology, Electrical Power Technology and a Bioscience and a comprehensive Continuing Education Program.
No matter what you want to study, Palm Beach County has all the resources to help further your education.
